eliminating the round opening that allowed too much exposure. Simply zip completely up, going to and from the car, for maximum protection from wind and rain. Once in the car unzip as desired!
Our convertible car seat cover is designed for the larger seats that are rated for children up to 65 pounds.

 Our car seat covers goes OVER the seat, there is NO fabric between the baby and the car seat harness straps as the National Highway Safety Adminstration recommends. The National Highway Safety Administration suggests heavy and bulky clothing not be worn while securing babies in car seats. It prevents the harness straps from being snug on baby's shoulders. The cover we were using had a hole cut out for the baby's face with a flap. The flap would never stay velcroed shut because the wind would always catch it. Also, I would have to remove the entire cover when I ran into a store or he would get too hot. Your cover is great. I can zip it up when outside and unzip it inside so he doesn't get too warm.
